Over the last two semesters Nate has experienced some trouble making it to class but not because he is cutting and heading to the beach. Far from it – literally. Nate is spending most of his time overseas. From January to July of this year he was a Bosserman UNESCO Fellow working at its Paris Headquarters. Nate came back to SU for about a week in July and then headed off to Poland on a Boren Scholarship to study Polish and to conduct field research. While in Poland Nate is visiting various sites as he explores the Polish perspective on the Holocaust. When he returns in February 2020 he will head off to the US Holocaust memorial and Museum with some dignitaries to tour the museum and discuss his field work.
