Abey was the first undergraduate to receive the center’s UNITAR Fellow as well as a recipient of the Bosserman UNESCO Fellowship. He is in Tanzania on a Boren Scholarship studying Swahili and will return in February. Abey has received other scholarship offers and is in the envious, if not stressful, position of having to decide what to do next as he completes his studies at SU.
