Falasca First to be Awarded the Center’s UNITAR Fellowship

Francesca is from Rome Italy and is the center’s Graduate Assistant and is involved in the provision of services as well as teaching, workshop and training events.  The center is affiliated with the United Nations Institute for Research and Training (UNITAR) and as a result Francesca became the first graduate student to be awarded the Center’s UNITAR Fellowship.  This will allow her to work with us on research, over the next two years that focuses on developments in graduate academic programs as well as practical field based programs of conflict intervention.

CADR Alum, Foutz Accepts Faculty Position at SU

On May 31, 2019, Bosserman Center Research Fellow Brittany Foutz successfully defended her dissertation on “Victim Satisfaction with Reparations from the International Criminal Court: An Examination of Child Soldier Cases from Kenya and Sexual Violence Cases from the Democratic Republic of Congo”. She received her Ph.D. from the School of Conflict Management, Peacebuilding, and Development at Kennesaw State University in Georgia. Ravizza Awarded 2018 Rotary International Peace Fellowship

Dr. Dean Ravizza was awarded a 2018 Rotary International Peace Fellowship to further his work in using sports to bring people together across war zones and ideological divides. Ravizza is one of only 25 professionals selected globally for the certificate program at the Rotary Peace Center at Chulalongkhorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. The fellowship seeks to develop leaders who can become catalysts for peace, and conflict prevention and resolution.
