Edwin Njonguo

Senior Practitioner

najanbouMr. Edwin Njonguo is the Director of Special Projects at the Bosserman Center for Conflict Resolution (BCCR). He identifies, initiates and directs projects, liaises with partners, oversees the mediator roaster, and manages programs. He has been very instrumental with the District Court Day-of-trial Mediation Program, Prisoner Re-entry Program, Community Mediation, and Outreach; and was part of the team that launched the School Attendance Mediation, and Train the Trainer in Conflict Resolution Programs at the BCCR. His mediation expertise spans across a variety of cases, such as: business, court referrals, community, family, students, prisoner re-entry as well as large group facilitations.

Edwin also serves as Graduate Assistant at the Department of Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution at Salisbury University; and Senior Adviser of the Department’s Conflict Resolution Club. He is also a member of the Maryland Program for Mediator Excellence (MPME), and proudly served as an AmeriCorps member from 2013-2014.

He has extensive community, national and international experience and has spent almost his entire 11-year career working for the nonprofit sector. He has served in different capacities including: Volunteer, Paralegal, Administrative Assistant, Communications and Resource Officer, Project Manager, Case Management Specialist, and currently is Director of Special Projects. He has spent the last eight years working for the following nonprofits:  Nkong Hill Top Association for Development (NADEV) – Cameroon; Green Step e.V. – Germany, and currently, The Bosserman Center for Conflict Resolution at Salisbury, Maryland – U.S.A.

He did both his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Political Science at the University of Buea in Cameroon. Currently, he is a candidate, of excellent standing, for the Master of Arts (M.A.) in Conflict Analysis
